Spotify is a popular audio streaming platform that offers both free and premium plans. Since its launch in 2006, it has amassed over 356 million active users. Over 158 million of these are paying customers. In the Philippines, premium membership plans cost Php 129 per month.

If you wish to cancel a deceased's Spotify premium membership, you may do so through the following steps:

Contact Spotify Support.

You can inform Spotify's administrators through their support form. Indicate that you're canceling an account for a deceased loved one. Within 48 hours, they should respond with the steps for deleting the account. Their support team usually responds within 48 hours.

If you do not receive a response from Spotify, you may also contact them through Twitter or Facebook.

Follow Spotify's instructions.

Spotify should send you an email with the instructions for removing the deceased's account. Prepare proof and documents that you have the authority to delete the person's account on their behalf.
